Terms of use

1. Scope

These terms apply to everyone who visits babay.ch, opens an account, posts listings or contacts other users.

2. What babay.ch provides

babay.ch provides a platform to publish and search listings for vehicles, property, second-hand goods, services and jobs.

Contracts are concluded exclusively between users. babay.ch is not a party to them, does not process payments and does not offer buyer protection.

3. Costs

Using babay.ch is free.

babay.ch may introduce optional paid features in the future. Such features will be announced transparently in advance and charged only after an explicit order.

4. Account

An account is required to post listings and contact other users. Sign-in works with a link sent by email or with Google.

Users provide truthful information and protect access to their email inbox.

5. Listings

Only genuine offers and requests that comply with Swiss law may be posted. Category, price and description must be accurate; photos may only be used with the necessary rights.

Listings stay online for a set period (jobs 30 days, other sections 60 days) and can be renewed afterwards.

6. Review before publication

Every new or edited listing is checked automatically before it is published. If the result is unclear or the check fails, a person decides.

babay.ch may reject or remove listings that violate these terms or applicable law. The reason is communicated. There is no entitlement to publication.

7. Prohibited content

Prohibited are in particular weapons and ammunition, narcotics, counterfeit or stolen goods, sexual services, discriminatory content, pyramid schemes, advance payments before a viewing, and job offers that require applicants to pay.

8. Contact between users

Messages may only be sent in connection with a listing. Advertising, spam and referrals to fraudulent offers are prohibited.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, babay.ch is not liable for the content of listings or for the conclusion or performance of contracts between users.

10. Suspension

If these terms are violated, babay.ch may remove listings and suspend accounts.

11. Changes

babay.ch may amend these terms. Changes are announced on the platform.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered office, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
